Zoë Skoulding’s ‘In the forest where they fell’

Zoë Skoulding, ‘In the forest where they fell’, in published form in Remains of a Future City, and also written on a piece of birch bark found by Skoulding in 1990. Set in the most ancient forest in Europe (Poland / Lithuania), the text includes reference to the bodies which remain from undocumented war deaths, and which have grown into the forest landscape.
